1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to QuitterPal ("the App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and QuitterPal regarding your use of the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any of these Terms, please discontinue use of the App immediately.
2. Description of Service
QuitterPal is an addiction management assistant tool that helps users manage addictive behaviors through the following features:
- Guardian Pairing: Establish accountability relationships with trusted partners for mutual supervision
- Smart Blocking: Automatically block apps that trigger addictive behavior
- Scheduled Protection: Set daily protection windows with automatic activation
- Statistics & Insights: Visualize your progress with detailed statistics
Basic features of the App are available free of charge. Certain advanced features may require a paid subscription.
3. Account Registration
- You may register using an email address or sign in with your Google account
- You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account password and for all activities under your account
- If you discover unauthorized use of your account or any security breach, you must notify us immediately
4. User Conduct
You agree to comply with the following rules when using the App:
- You will not use the App for any illegal activities
- You will not interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App
- You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's servers or databases
- You will not use the App to disseminate illegal or harmful information
- You will not abuse the guardian pairing feature to harass other users
- You will not circumvent the App's security restrictions through technical means
5. Paid Services
- The App offers monthly, annual, and lifetime subscription plans
- All payment transactions are processed through Google Play Billing and are subject to Google Play's terms of service
- Subscription fees will be charged to your Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Google Play account settings
6. Intellectual Property
The App and all its content (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software) are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or rent any part of the App without our written permission.
7. Disclaimer
- The App is for reference and assistance purposes only and does not constitute medical advice or professional treatment
- If you have a serious addiction problem, we recommend seeking professional medical help
- While we strive to ensure service stability and security, we do not guarantee completely uninterrupted or error-free service
- We are not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, system maintenance, network failures, or other circumstances beyond our control
8. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modified Terms will be posted within the App and on our website. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
9. Termination
If you violate any provision of these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice. You may also discontinue use of the App and delete your account at any time.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the competent People's Court.
